My sixth form education is officially over. The Ball was a perfect way to celebrate the end. I had so much fun 😀 There was a great steel band, food, and free dodgems! haha, I’m easy to please 😛 I don’t think I stopped dancing all night…
It was my 18th birthday this weekend… lots of fun and celebrations, and the promise of a car! Mum and Dad paid for a curry, and met Mark’s parents for the first time; luckily everybody got on great, and it was really good fun! Then my brother took me out for my first legal drink at the pub with Mark 🙂
Here’s a video of me opening the Mumm champagne Steve gave me; as you can see… complete natural 😛
Credit for the video goes to Helen Blades, my cousin. Obviously I didn’t film it myself as I’m in it hehe 🙂
I go back to college tomorrow, 2nd of January… harsh, I know! I’ve had a really lovely holiday though, but it’s going to be really hard work getting back into the rhythm and I’ve got loads of exams. For once in my life though I’m not too stressed, I’ve done loads of revision already and I can only do my best 😀
I had a really good New Years Eve, and I’ve come up with my resolutions:
1.) Keep up doing Yogalates
2.) Get a job!
3.) See my friends more
4.) Do well in my exams
I can’t believe that this time in 6 months it’s all going to be over and I’ll have a whole year off school! I can’t wait 😀
I have fallen prey to the virus that rapidly spread through the Baldwin-Smith household. Mark’s mum is the only person left standing, all others have lived the vomiting curse! Luckily it is a short lived affair and after a good day sleeping in bed I’m starting to feel better.
Still, it did put a bit of a dampener on what has been an absolutely lovely Christmas (thank you Sally for a delicious dinner!)
Just like Sally last year Dad has given me a blog for my christmas present, well along with a spanking new MacBook (now officially to be called “my baby” :D) So it’s all quite exciting in the Jones household. I’ve kept a diary since I was 11 but for some reason writing a blog feels completely different, for a start i can’t talk about how annoying dad is haha… no i never did that dad, honest! I’m sure I’ll be hooked in no time though according to Sally. I think I’m mostly going to write about college, my courses, applying to University and my Gap year. Oh, and of course the usual random crap that fills my head, I guess we’ll just have to wait and see how it develops. It’s so exciting! Well Merry Christmas, I’m off to spend the day scoffing my face 😛
